Selection Principle of Steel Flange

　　Piping connection flange, generally based on pressure, temperature, medium corrosion toxicity to the select materials and surface form.

　　Connecting surface has a smooth surface in the form of St52 Alloy Steel Forged Threaded Flange, smooth slip on flange due to its connection less rigid, well sealing performance, so toxic and flammable media which require high air-tightness of equipment should not be used; threaded flanges has good rigidity . It can be used under high pressure and temperature, without the limitation of diameter. But the manufacture of this kind of flange needs forging and casting, material consumption, cutting and a large amount of high costs. Threaded flange material usually made of carbon steel or stainless steel; threaded flange adopts steel or cast iron.
