  What is butt welding flange? Butt welding flange includes long neck butt welding flange, neck butt welding flange, butt welding flange, etc. It is mainly suitable for butt welding of flange and pipeline, with large strength and rigidity, reasonable structure, and can withstand high temperature, high pressure, repeated bending and temperature fluctuation. Its sealing performance is reliable. Butt welding flange adopts concave convex sealing surface, with nominal pressure of 0.25 ~ 2.5MPa.

  Generally speaking, butt welding flange is a kind of flange pipe fittings, and it is also a kind of flange which is butt welded with pipe and has a round pipe transition with neck. It is widely used and promoted in different fields and industries, and its application scope and use environment also need to be used according to certain conditions.

  In use, the nominal pressure of butt welding flange must be kept within a certain range, which plays an important role and value in pipeline connection. It is suitable for steel pipe connection with nominal pressure no more than 2.5MPa. Flange butt welding sealing surface can be divided into three types: smooth type, concave convex type and tenon groove type. Smooth type butt welding flange is widely used in mild medium conditions, such as low pressure circulating water and low pressure unpurified compressed air. Cheap is one of its advantages. Butt welding flange is suitable for high temperature, high pressure, low temperature pipeline or pipeline with large fluctuation of temperature or pressure, and also suitable for pipeline conveying expensive flammable and explosive medium.

  The forging process of butt welding flange generally includes the following steps: blanking, heating, forming and cooling after forging. The forging process includes die forging, membrane forging and free forging. Different casting methods are selected according to the forging quality and production batch.
