Advantages of plate Flange

　　Formal flat plate flange: easy to obtain, easy to manufacture, low cost, widely used; butt-welded flange with neck is poor rigidity, so it can not be used in chemical process piping system with high and extremely harmful requirements of supply and demand, inflammable, explosive and high vacuum. The type of sealing surface has plane and protruding surface.

　　ASME B16.5 DN25 PN10 Carbon Steel Plate Flange has the advantages of simple fabrication and low cost, but the welding workload is large, welding rod consumption is high, can not withstand the role of high temperature, high pressure, repeated bending and temperature fluctuation, generally used in PN25MPa, normal temperature, working temperature t0 pipeline.

Flat flange is mostly used in mild medium conditions, such as low-pressure non-purified compressed air and low-pressure circulating water. Its advantage is that the price is cheaper.

Its structure is reasonable, strength and stiffness are large, it can withstand high temperature and pressure, repeated bending and temperature fluctuation, and its sealing is reliable. Plate flange with nominal pressure of 0.252.5 MPa adopts concave-convex sealing surface
